Risk of penny stocks

Penny stocks, or stocks with a sub-$5 share price, generally aren't my cup of tea. These types of companies tend to be far too risky to make them worthy of serious investment consideration.

Penny stocks are small-cap stocks that cost less than $5 per share — if you have some extra money and a high risk tolerance, penny stock investing might be for you.
